And it begins.

Its that time of the year again where I will spend the next month bothering, pestering, and guilt-tripping each of you into spending a weekend in Lawrence. This trip will mark a new era, as AC will no longer serve as host. We are still welcome at his house, where his good friend TJ has agreed to allow us to stay there. In the alternative, we can get a hotel on Mass for the weekend or just stay at B. Rush's crib.

I would put forth the weekend of Feb. 8-10 as a starting point for discussion. The Jayhawks have a home game against Baylor in the evening. I would like to go to the game, but I'll have to closely monitor my beer glass at Jefferson's to avoid the twisted fork. In the meantime, I look forward to the reminiscing and fence sitting that is to follow.

Like a mother scolding her children, Clark has told us to take it to the comment's section. As far as the trip, I will be playing the role of Snyder this year: unable to know if I can make it until later. To avoid confusing anyone, I promise as few Dukes of Hazzard references as possible

Mother Goose, if you are indeed filling in my role from a year ago, then I will return the favor that was provided to me that same year. I will speak on behalf of the entire entourage that might make the trek and say that if you get yourself to Des Moines on the eve of departure, you will undoubtedly be handed cold pints of Guiness as we deem fit.
